Those responsible for the debt, decay and wasteful spending in this City say you can’t build a city and cut taxes at the same time. I disagree.
This Council has shamefully abandoned key sections of our Ward leaving a legacy of pervasive blight. I believe we can turn these areas around and bring them out from the long shadows of neglect and political indifference into vibrant places that residents are proud to live in and destinations where Torontonians come to shop.
Key initiatives
- Create new district plan for the Dundas–Queen corridor.
- Establish Dundas-Queen Street East Business Improvement Area to develop retail and commercial space.
- Form a new Ward 28 marketing and advertising focus as part of the councillor’s office to develop and co-ordinate tourist area opportunities
- Review strategic options with Federal Government regarding location the Moss Park Armory
